What steps do you need to take to get your natural gas service connection installed with Union Gas? Here's the information you need to know:

Union Gas install one service line per residential address at no charge to new customers when the distance between the gas meter and the property line is no more than 30 metres. Union Gas chooses the path that the line will take and where meter service will be installed, which may not necessarily be the shortest path possible. Union Gas charges $45/metre (+ HST) for any installation of distances above 30 metres.

Are you in a remote area?
Some locations within Union Gas's service area are too remote for its usual connection service, and installation may take longer than usual.
