Hudson Energy Canada Corp. is the Ontario operating arm of Hudson Energy, a North American business-to-business energy supplier founded in 2002 and acquired by Mississauga-based Just Energy Group Inc. in May 2010. From its Canadian head office at 6345 Dixie Road in Mississauga, Hudson sells electricity and natural gas to commercial and industrial customers across Ontario under fixed-rate and variable-rate contracts of one to five years.
The company is licensed by the Ontario Energy Board as both an electricity retailer (ER-2025-0104) and a gas marketer (GM-2025-0103), with licences reissued effective July 2025 after a corporate-structure change inside the Just Energy group.
Unlike most Ontario retailers, Hudson does not target households and does not run door-to-door residential sales. Its model is built around dedicated commercial account managers, brokers and the Hudson Connex online pricing portal, which lets businesses request custom quotes for single sites or multi-site portfolios. Supply for Ontario customers is sourced through Just Energy Ontario L.P. and Just Energy Trading, which procure from wholesale counterparties including Shell, Macquarie, Mercuria and NGX.

Hudson is licensed to serve Ontario businesses across every LDC territory in the province, Hydro One, Toronto Hydro, Alectra Utilities, Hydro Ottawa, Elexicon, London Hydro and the smaller municipal utilities. For natural gas, Hudson covers the entire Enbridge Gas distribution network.
Customers are billed and physically served by their existing utility, Hudson only handles the supply portion of the bill.
