Bow Valley Power

Bow Valley Power is a Canmore-based competitive electricity retailer that sells both regular and green electricity contracts to customers throughout Alberta. It is currently the only Alberta-based boutique energy retailer that provides both traditional and EcoLabel™-certified power.

Service Area

Bow Valley Power serves customers in over 120 communities throughout the province. Though based in Canmore, the company is licenced to provide service in the cities of Calary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, and Red Deer, as well as in the Fortis and ATCO wires territories.

Bow Valley Power was founded by Charlie Bredo in Canmore in 2010. The company became EcoLogo™ certified in 2012.
