Direct Energy Terms & Conditions

Direct Energy Late Payment Fees

Direct Energy charges a monthly 1.5% late payment penalty on total current charges. Late payment charges apply after the late payment due date.

Direct Energy Dishonoured Payment Fee

Direct Energy charges $20 for any dishonoured payments (bounced cheque, NSF, etc).

Moving With a Direct Energy Contract

You must provide at least 45 days' notice to Direct Energy of any upcoming change of address. Your contract will be continued if your new address is in an Direct Energy service area, but if you move out of the province (or to an area not served by Direct Energy), your contract will end on the date of your move.
