Paying Your Enbridge Gas Bill

Whether by card, cash, or by cheque, you have several options for paying your Enbridge gas bill:

Pre-Authorized Payment

If you sign up for the pre-authorized payment plan with Enbridge, your payment will be automatically withdrawn from your bank account before the late payment deadline. You will still receive a monthly bill, but your payment will be done automaticallly. This option allows you to avoid late payment fees and saves you the time of paying your bill yourself.

How to Sign Up for Pre-Authorized Payment

You can sign up online for pre-authorized payment through your personal MyEnbridge account (under the Billing and Services tab). You can also sign up for pre-authorized payment by printing and completing the Pre-Authorized Payment Plan form found on the return portion of your bill (also available online here). You will need to mail or fax the completed with a blank cheque marked VOID with your next payment.

Online

You can also pay your bill online through your bank's website, or you can pay your Enbridge gas bill online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). Enbridge uses a third-party online payment service for this, called Plastiq. As of January 1st, 2015, Plastiq charges a 1.99% fee off of the total payment amount for this service.

How to Pay by Credit Card With Plastiq

To use Plastiq to pay by credit card, you will need your your credit card details, payment amount, as well as the name and account number for the Enbridge account. You have the option of registering for an account with Plastiq, which is free of charge and will save you time if you plan to pay regularly by credit card, but it is not necessary to register for Plastiq if you do not to plan to use it regularly. In order to complete your transaction you will need to click on "Review Payment", and you will receive a confirmation number once the transaction is successfully made.

You may pay additional cash advance fees if you pay by Visa. You should check with the bank that issued your Visa card to find out if additional charges apply for using Plastiq.

Telephone

You can call the Enbridge Customer Service line at 1-877-362-7434 to pay over the phone, but you will be transferred to Plastiq to complete the transaction. As is the case online, you will be charged a transaction fee to use this service.

Through Your Bank

You can pay your Enbridge bill at your local bank branch or through your bank's website.

You can pay in person at the following locations:

Note that Enbridge does not accept cash or process debit transactions at these offices.
